It was odd that the deck did not fit.
I thought since I had stiched the sides on with the deck in place that
it would all go right back together. I had to trim off some deck
to get it to fit.
The transom was attached to the sides
with tape in the same fashion as the to the bottom. This step could
not be done until the deck was on because the transom curve was not determined
until the deck was in place.
